We are excited about what is happening in the Hartland Extension Schools in the US territories and other countries where the mission and vision of Hartland can be accomplished through onsite intensive training.
The Hartland Extension Schools aim to:
- Train young people and local missionaries in health and Bible outreach in 8 to 12 days of intensive training. The program is designed for groups of 30‒50 people.
- Teach attendees how to study the Bible and give Bible studies.
- Teach effective ways to reach the community through health fairs.
- Train Hartland students in educational leadership. Hartland students will plan extension school and act as instructors, supervised by our experienced teachers. Teachers and students will work together in the mission field.
- Help to train local Adventists for mission. The programs will be carried out in SDA churches, educational institutions or missionary schools to provide tools for local mission.
In 2023, we conducted Hartland Extension Schools in Ukraine, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia. We need $6,000 per school, and we aim to have three Hartland Extension Schools per year for a total of $18,000.
